In order to improve and optimize their invoice document processes, Smith Mechancial Inc. chose IRISXtract™ to streamline / automate their transactions into QuickBooks Desktop (Enterprise V20).
This two-way integration with the QuickBooks Desktop automatically recognizes incoming documents and transforms their data. Each transaction is captured, validated and then directly exported into the QuickBooks Company File. The solution makes realtime calls to QuickBooks with events like duplicate invoice protection. In addition to that, the solution automatically creates monthly monitored payment reports on all parts and items.
Before the IRISXtract™ and QuicksBooks integration, Smith Mechanical Inc’s invoice process was manual. By using the IRISXtract™ Accounts Payable Capture Solution, the manual errors from invoice processing have been minimized. Accordingly, the overall processing time has been reduced by over 50%. Transaction reporting of all items and expense costs has made it much simpler for Smith Mechanical Inc. to monitor (including job cost savings).
