Eurobaustoff is Europe’s No. 1 supplier of building materials, wood and tiles and supports the affiliated independent specialist trade companies with over 1,600 locations and more than 40,000 employees in all areas of traditional business processes. At the core of its service offering is a networked procurement management system, whereby any global, national or local purchase can be combined as required. In addition, Eurobaustoff promotes and supports the strengths of medium-sized specialist retailers with services from management, IT, finance and tax. Eurobaustoff uses IRISXtract™ in various departments and also across sites for a more efficient document management.
The partnership between IRIS and Eurobaustoff started in 2001 with the simple processing of invoice-related data up to the complete processing including single item entry in 2011.
Based on the positive experience gained in the area of invoice processing, Eurobaustoff decided to expand the partnership with IRIS and launched the Safety Sheets project in 2018, which includes information from manufacturers of dangerous goods. These goods are subject to special safety aspects such as transport conditions, storage regulations and processing conditions. Eurobaustoff is obliged to make this information available to its shareholders without restriction, as they in turn are obliged to publish it.
In 2019, the Bonus and Advertising Cost Vouchers projects were launched as a result, and work was also carried out on optimizing the rules and regulations for central invoicing.
